Baseball is enjoying an impressive resurgence at Susquehannock, due in part to our new pitching machine and batting cage, seen right and below left. The Baseball counselors know that no child's education is complete without a thorough grounding in the principles of the greatest sport ever created. We teach all levels, from those stepping to the plate for the first time to starting varsity players. We use age and ability appropriate drills. Beginners focus on the fundamentals - throwing, fielding, and hitting - while more advanced players work on techniques for base running and hitting the curveball. Campers can hone their hitting skills in the morning clinics and put them to use in a game that afternoon. We also use the pitching machine in many of our games so each side faces the same challenge.
