Winter Reunion - January 9, 2005
Campers and staffcame from all over the Philadelphia area to see their camp friends, eat some junk food, and, yes, bowl.

Some of the younger staff faces: Stephanie and Whit, Francie, Katie, Vinny, and Seth.

Kyle (and his mom) joined us from all the way from Baltimore.

Some of the teenage girls happy to see there will be enough caffeine. . .

Olympic Field Days

Our Second Session Field Days, called the Olympics, puts cabins from both camps together on teams representing Greece and various countries - Venezuela, South Africa, New Zealand, Wales, Canada, and USA - that our counselors came from.

Facepaint, water balloons, relay races, lots of smiles, and a sunny afternoon - don't you love summer?

Elaine smiles her best Canadian smile (above left).

Tess (on horseback) and her brother Noah were both on Team South Africa.

As was Troye, left, in matching hat, cape, and facepaint. His niece Dara, almost a year old as of this photo, and her dad Eric join him in the shade.

Troye yet again, below, with Emsyl representing Wales.

Sierra, below center, smiles with her patriotic headgear.

and Katie, below left, demonstrates some of the strength of Team Venezuela.

Chris, with his best ancient Athenian warpaint, smiles in his toga - right

Various pictures of Team Greece, below.

Team Greece

Personally, I think the tartan toga, below, would have been very stylish amongst the happening crowd wandering the Acropolis in 450 BC.

Team Venezuela

Team New Zealand

Team New Zealand looks tough for the camera - above.

Seth, contemplative, above right, and in a pose that should now be familiar with regular visitors to the gallery pages - right.- is now Kap'n Kiwi, in support of Tumble Inn's membership in Team New Zealand.

Gabe, in red, does his best to stand out from the gentle throng of his teammates - right.
Team USA
Team South Africa
Various members (Lodge, sedately above, and hamming it up for the camera up top, and the entire multi-cabin team, below) of Team South Africa.
Members of the Lodge, below, can't seem to stop posing . . .
The S4G members of Team South Africa, on the other hand, don't seem to care so much about having their picture taken.
Team Wales

Ok, so it looks like the S4B counselors - above - thought that Wales was either a large marine mammal, or a local classic-rock radio station ("99.1 - the Whale"). I'm sure someone told them eventually that Wales is in fact a country . . .

The entire team assembled for their photo - right - and the S4B cabins on the team - top.

Sitting on a water balloon - until you pop it - is one way of staying cool on a warm afternoon - right.

Various staff members (Chris, Corrine, and Troye (kneeling, with his sister Tarryn, S4G Director) show off their respective allegiances.

Various well-decorated staff members - above.

We think Cliff has something interesting to say about the balloon, but we don't know what it is (left and right)

Egg and Spoon Race requires significant concentration (left and right)
Lastly - two of the Boot Toss contestants, in deep concentration prior to their event. Or maybe not such deep concentration, as this is all just for fun.
