Football : Susquehannock Camps
Football (Boys)
The Football Program at Susquehannock teaches the fundamental skills of football: passing, catching, kicking, and basic plays, and incorporates them into a safe, non-tackling game known as "Razzle Dazzle" Football. This allows an emphasis on the athletic and mental components of the game without needing all campers to suit up in all the equipment traditional football requires. There is a focus on agility, communication with teammates, improvisation, and movement without the ball - fundamental skills that translate well to any sport - in a much safer environment.
For those campers who expect to be playing competitive football in the Fall season, there are intensive fitness training programs available.
There are also clinics and occasional competition in Rugby, and have experienced players on staff to teach both the basics and the finer points. This exposure to a "foreign" sport is part of the international flavor of Susquehannock.
