Beach Volleyball or Newcomb (Boys/Girls)

Volleyball and Newcomb at Susquehannock takes place on "the Beach" at two separate full size regulation beach volleyball courts. In addition to formal clinics and competition, Susquehannock counselors and campers alike often play impromptu pick-up games. The clinic program teaches both the basic skills - setting, serving, position, and passing - and higher level skills such as jump serves, spiking, and diving. The forgiving sand surface encourages new players to practice these skills and thereby incorporate them into their game without the fear associated with paved or hardwood courts.
