With a crystal clear, spring-fed lake, the waterfront at Susquehannock is always popular. Few joys compare with the simple pleasure of diving into cool water after playing sports on a warm summer afternoon. Safety, of course, is the highest priority, and a fully-certified WSI-trained staff member supervises all instructional and free swims.

Susquehannock takes great pride in the fact that nearly all campers earn boating priviledges by undertaking a supervised swim across the lake. Any camper who does not swim confidently when they arrive is given one-on-one instruction until they do. We offer several levels of Red Cross-based swiming as well as competitive swimming and diving. Two regattas each session offer a competitive swimming experience to each camper.

We also have snorkling and a full boating program including sailing, canoeing, rowboats, and paddleboats. All campers 14 or older are eligible to participate in a river-canoe trip to the Delaware - a wonderful but tiring day spent paddling through canyons, steering through rapids and swimming in standing waves.
