Share your love of Camp Susquehannock with prospective families through virtual tours that bring camp to life from anywhere in the world.

What is the Virtual Tour Guide Program?

Our Virtual Tour Guide Program connects prospective camp families with alumni and staff who can share their firsthand experience of what makes Susquehannock special. As a volunteer tour guide, you'll lead 30-minute virtual tours over Google Meet, helping families envision their child's camp experience.

How It Works

Tour Format

Each virtual tour lasts 30 minutes and includes:

  • 20 minutes: Guided virtual tour following our prepared itinerary
  • 10 minutes: Q&A session with the prospective family

Your Role as a Tour Guide

We will train you as a tour guide to take families on a journey through the camp experience, meeting them where they are. As the program evolves, we'll work collaboratively with our tour guides to continuously enhance and improve the virtual tour experience. Tour guides will be part of an email list where you can exchange ideas, share feedback, and learn from each other's experiences.

Scheduling Flexibility

Tour guides volunteer to cover specific time shifts when tours are booked. You choose the times that work best for your schedule, making this a flexible way to give back to camp.

Who Can Be a Tour Guide?

We welcome both alumni and staff members who are passionate about sharing their camp experience. Ideal tour guides are:

  • Enthusiastic about Camp Susquehannock and its programs
  • Comfortable speaking with prospective families
  • Able to answer questions about camp life and activities
  • Available for scheduled tour time slots
  • Comfortable using Google Meet for video calls
