App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Camp Susquehannock parent app (“the app”) handles your information. It applies to the app on both iOS (the App Store) and Android (Google Play). The app is provided by Camp Susquehannock (“we,” “us”) for the parents and guardians of registered campers.

Information We Collect

• Account information — your name and email address, which you provide to sign in and set up your profile.
• Device push token — an identifier used to deliver notifications about your camper’s new photos.
• Diagnostics — crash and performance data to keep the app reliable.

Camper photos, schedules, and mail shown in the app are provided by the camp; the app displays them to you and does not collect them from your device.

How We Use Information

• To authenticate you and provide the app’s features.
• To send you notifications when new photos of your camper are published.
• To diagnose and fix problems.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

How Information Is Shared

We use Google Firebase (authentication, database, messaging, and crash reporting) as a service provider to operate the app. Your information is processed on our behalf under Google’s terms. We do not sell your personal information.

Children’s Information

The app is intended for parents and guardians, not for use by children. It displays photos and information about campers (who may be minors) that the camp captures and curates as part of its programs, and makes them available only to the camper’s linked parent/guardian and within the camp community. Data Retention and Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app (tap the account menu and choose Delete Account). Deleting your account removes your profile, notification tokens, and app data, and unlinks your campers (whose records remain with the camp). This action is permanent.
